Gaaa, my wife wants a FP

Messing around around with my new Danitrio, my wifey decides she wants a FP too. but a slim one. Any suggestions on a good, but inexpensive cart I can get for her to try? Don't wanna spend to much dinero, only to find out she doesn't like it.

I believe the pen of recommendation for newbies is the Pilot Metropolitan, which run around $20. They're a medium nib.

You won't find a cheaper decent pen than the Pilot Metro. I think the office stores have Parker Urbans, etc...but those are over $30

I love my metropolitan! At times I actually prefer it to my Al-Star. I think it is a mood thing actually but I am finally able to see the 'need' for several fountain pens. It sure is nice being able to use different inks and different nibs without washing and swapping things around all the time!

I ordered her a Faber Basic, in the Mother of Pearl. She also likes my Sheaffer Viewpoint in the mediium, I will get that at Staples, tomorrow.

No, it's all because my wifey brought home her step dad's Durham Duplex, Eveready brush, and Burma Shave mug. It all led to this forum, so I blame B&B as my ultimate downfall, just because I can't blame my wife...
Don't tell anyone but she is practicing her handwriting as I type this. Using the Sheaffer Viewpoint Fine nib that I gave her. I am hiding in my man cave.

I had noticed the pen, over, and over, but never thought anything about it, till B&B came along.

I agree with Andy, this is real bad Although you can enjoy the pens together without hiding them from each other.
