Well, gentlemen, here is the first installment of the SOTD post-David (aka Optometrist). Even though he is no longer active on B&B, I'd like to dedicate this week to David who has been a leader, a mentor, and most importantly, one of the most incredible gentlemen this corner of the forum could ever have hoped to have with us. He will be missed!

That said, we are sticking with his plan for the month, and it continues to be a free week. Share your own creative and artistic flair. I look forward to seeing everyone's posts because this truly is an incredible part of the forum!

He's fine. He had a disagreement with some mods about a thread* and decided he didn't want to continue posting on B&B.

I hope he doesn't mind me posting that.



*edit: Just to clarify, it wasn't a disagreement with the mods themselves but just the way a thread was allowed to run.

• Prep: Brush soaking in cold water, face wash with Noxzema Triple Clean, cold shower
• Razor: 1945 Shavety First Shake Sharp Razor
• Blade: NOS Vintage Gillette Super Blue Blade (4)
• Brush: Semogue 820 Boar
• Soap: Tabac
• AS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, Double Splash Of Aftershave

Day number four with the Shavety First Shake Sharp and the Super Blue blade. Two and half passes with some touch-ups and buffing on the neck. Starting to feel the slightest amount of tugging on the blade and the neck needed more work today.
