Sunday Schick shave, Nov 21st 2021

Razor: Schick G type injector, Canadian variant-Mfg 1940's& 50's, mid range, easy to work the face, good results usually.
Blade : Personna injector SS PTFE(6) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out over time, predictable.
Soap: Razorock Irish Country side, mild scent with excellent lather qualities.(misted)
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Rainbow synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber, excellent painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser+ a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer lotion(balm) scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 weeper= Excellent shave with my Schick injector G type with a Personna coated blade.

Sunday, November 21st relaxed frugal shave, two passes, plus clean up- 9/10, CCS with no issues, very pleasant:

Blade: Dorco Prime (3)
Soap: La Toja stick- I travel with this; it's a great value soap
Brush: Omega boar
Post-shave: cool rinse, Humphrey's WH as a splash- bought at a discount store; I think they've changed their packaging

Keeping it frugal with samples from the Captain. Great scents and results as always from his stuff.

I've been dying to give this razor a go. I bought it last week and realized the blade gap was very crooked. It took some patience, but was not hard to fix. First pass was on setting 5 then I dialed it up to 6 for second pass and clean-up. This thing is fantastic! BBS 9.9/10

Razor/Blade: GEM (of some persuasion - I know, I'm a Philistine!) w/Blue Star blade (3)
Aftershave: Cold water, Nivea balm
Fragrance: Nautica Voyage

After three shaves with each, I can declare my preference for this over the black and gold push button GEM. Have an open comb style Ever Ready on deck.

Voyage is the first fragrance outside of the Zingari Man EdP that I purchased that I really like. If anyone has similar recommendations, I'm all ears.

Results: Relaxing cold water, bowl lathered comfortable DFS result. Very good shave.
