In another thread on shaving brushes I noted a cream mix that I have tried that I really like. I figured I would post it up here for any comments on this or other mixes that have worked.
I have been looking for a travel soap or cream that not only lathers with ease but has a cool feeling.
I have a small 1 ounce plastic screwtop vial that I wanted to use as my travel cream container. It once had an emu oil based foot salve in it.
I squeezed a good bit of Tom's of Maine Mint into the vial and tried to use that with my Wee Scot brush...it really is too "stiff" a cream to swirl up with this brush. So the next day I mixed Clubman shave cream with it in about a 50:50 proportion. This produced a soft easily swirled up cream that lathered very well and combined the intense cooling of the TOM with the more interestingly scented Clubman.
This FrankenCream is destined to be my travel cream on an upcoming trip.
I am thinking I will call this ClubTom cream.
