Fragrance of Acqua di Parma Cream/Balm

I am leaning toward the purchase of this cream and its balm, but I have a question about their fragrance. Does their fragrance linger or does it dissipate fairly quickly?

I would rather not use the cream and/or the balm if the fragrance sticks around, simply because I would not be using the ADP fragrance.

Can anyone advise with regard to the longevity of the fragrance in the cream and/or the balm? My sole concern here is conflict between ADP and other fragrances.

I normally use the cream, splash and Colonia EdT together. I have used the shave cream alone several times and the scent did not linger after applying witch hazel and moisturizer. I would venture to guess that you would smell the balm for a couple hours. Therefore, I would wear a similar fragrance. If you don't like the scent, I would only buy the cream, it's a wonderful product.

I don't know specifically about AdP, but my experience in general is that the fragrance of soaps and creams don't tend to linger after the shave. I've yet to run across one that lingered and thus conflicted with my aftershave or cologne. So personally I wouldn't worry about it.

I've also found that scent of the cream doesn't linger. It's kind of a citrussy scent by the way.

+1 for this comment. Also, the scent is 'citrussy' but has some other notes which are difficult to pinpoint. But not strong or lingering by any means.

The scent of the cream does not linger, but the aftershave balm I would say yes; for about an hour or so then it dissipates slowly.

I am currently also using the Colonia aftershave balm with the Colonia cologne; but I think maybe it might be different (does not linger as much or at all) if you use the reformulated and as mentioned by Jerry-built Hustler above, purportedly unscented Collezione Barbiere balm.

Either way, I've found AdP products to be really nice to use.
