Really nice kit. The Shake Sharp v1 and the Feather blade are a great match!

Just arrived in today's mail; my first non-Gillette vintage. The Star is a great razor with a bit more efficiency than its ubiquitous competitor. The short handle is very much to my liking, as is the deep knurling. Nice smooth comfortable shave with a Nacet blade.

I cheated today, it is Wolfman Wednesday but I wanted to post here so I used a vintage Gillette ball end handle from a Gillette old type open comb razor. Does that count ?View attachment 1244593

A Wolfman, really?! I’m glad you’ve mentioned it, because with that BRUSH in the pic, you might as well post a Braun electric razor and no one would notice it! Razor who?!?

Is it the same brush as the one in post #9? It is beyond gorgeous!

PS. Can you please refrain from posting brushes like this and the one in post #19? What is THAT?!?! It’s more beautiful than the uniform of the Vatican Guard, as if that were possible! Jesus Christ (pun intended...)!

Finishing up my 2 weeks (that turned into 3+ weeks) of Vintage April with one of my Big Dog vintage razors, the English Personna "BBS-0". The Personna, especially when paired with a Feather or a Kai blade, provides me with outstanding shaves. Top Tier all the way. Even snuck in a very comfortable and irritation-free "Fool's Pass".

I must say this 1910 Empire razor is considerably more mild than my 1911 Shell razor. My Shell will bite you if not careful, the Empire with a new Feather blade I whipped around like a ball end tech no worse for wear.
