Feather AS vs 1969 Mustang

Geez what's with all the "versus" threads right now?

Here's one...the Feather AS versus the 1969 Mustang. Who wins? Why?

Personally...I have to go with the Mustang.

The Mustang hands down.

A car can take you places, and opens up the possibility of many grand adventures. :w00t:

A razor is only capable of shaving your face.:laugh:

I've been reading a lot of positive stuff about the 1969 Mustang on these forums. Which vendor can I get the best price from?

Disappointment, probably (at least in my case).

I would have to agree with you. I have not read every Feather AS thread, but I don't get the opinion that people are wowed by this razor. The overwhelming response doesn't seem to be "best razor ever" as it is with most of the Edwin Jagger/ Muhle threads.

The number of them for sale on the B/S/T also supports this theory.

I see very little Edwin Jagger/ Muhle razors for sale on the B/S/T, but of late there seems to be 1-2 Feather AS sold each week. That tells me people try them out, and decide they would rather have their $160 back.:001_rolle

These are cheap substitutions as people subconsciously compensate for "Celebrity Deathmatch" being taken off the air. Who didn't love seeing Don King's hair catch on fire, or Bill fleeing from Hillary and Monica in a Secret Service helicopter, or Rosie O'Donnell accidentally squashing a candy seller?

*Sigh*

I really miss Celebrity Deathmatch.

And Beavis and Butthead.

And Daria.

And Duckman.

And Mystery Science Theater 3000.

And SCTV.

Oh, and I choose the Mustang.

My first car was a 1967 Mustang. The starter was loose so sometimes you had to knock on it to get the car to start. It was rusty and water came up through the floor when it rained. This was in 1971-1972. So I'll take my Feather AS because it's built better and will last longer. :thumbup1:
