Help! I cannot load my La Faulx

Hello, all. I just received my gorgeous copper La Faulx razor which, of course uses single edged Artist club blades.
I bought a box of Feathers, Feather Pros and Feather Guards.
I popped open the box of Feathers, and grabbed a shiny new blade.

As you can see, there is a little hole on one side of the blade.
The LaFaulx plate has two pins, and the side of the blade without a little hole will fit onto the plate.
I tried all three types, and they all look exactly the same.
Here is the plate!

Nobody else seems to have this problem. What am I missing here?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe I am not pushing hard enough:

I looks like in the example, the pins are squeezing in and there is only a hole on one side.

The little extra cutout on only one side of the blade is normal and is not used for anything with the LaFaulx. It looks like it's fitting how it's supposed to, unless the pins were made too close together and preventing the blade from sitting down flush on the top cap. I can't tell from the picture whether or not the blade is sitting flush or it there is a gap. From the view you're showing, it looks just like mine in terms of where the blade holes line up with the top cap pins. It should not take any effort to put the blade over the pins and have it sit flush, but there also won't be any wiggle room where the blade moves side to side.

I shaved a fortune
@rcg , I don't want to assume anything, but I'm guessing you were successful loading up your new La Faulx. I hope so... How was the first shave with it? It's one of my very best razors and definitely the best AC razor I own.....I only need the Classic base plate, but lots of people have had success with the + and ++.

I would also recommend you try the Kai Captain AC blades... the Kai Captain Titan "Mild" Pinks and their guarded blade, the Kai Captain Protouch MG both work well for me. I find them a bit smoother than the Feather blades, but YMMV, as always. I do use the Feather Pro Super (slightly wider) blades in my La Faulx if I'm looking to boost the efficiency due to too many days in between shaves... That Feather is pretty smooth for me as well.

Kai is the father company and Feather is part of their family of companies...... The founder of Kai is the one who invented AC blades.
