Feather AS-D2 - Does the iKon Baseplate Work on It?

I've recently acquired one of the new Feather AS-D2 Safety Razors, and would like to add a little bit of variety and a touch of agressive to the razor.

Does anyone know if the AS-D2 will take an iKon baseplate like the AS-D1 would? I emailed iKon and they weren't sure if it would or not.

It does not, it will close but not seat exactly the way the AS D2 cap will, so it changes the blade gap
