Razor: CFDS open comb DE razor from France
Blade: Gillette 7'O Clock Super Stainless green pack from Russia (1st shave)
Brush: Frank shaving finest custom brush
Cream: Biotique Bio Palmyra shaving cream
Lathering On: Face
Post Shave: Cold water rinse, alum block, witch hazel & rose water toner
Aftershave: Nivea aftershave balm

Shaving Outcome: DFS with two nicks and minor irritation.

Today, an herbal shave!

Pre Prep + Nanny's New Forest shaving cream sample + Vulfix 2234 Best + Schick Krona with Schick blade + Thayers Medicated Superhazel + Herbíssimo balm


A friend gave me a sample of this cream and it smells wonderfully well, although I haven't found it very remarkable in properties. Anyway, I had a smooth and clean shave, thanks to this mild razor!

• Blade: Personna Med Prep
• Brush: Vintage Brush Re-Knotted with 18mm TGN Silvertip Badger
• Soap: Proraso Menthol and Eucalyptus with added Menthol
• AS: Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue with added Menthol
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, Double Splash of Aftershave

Happy Monday morning shaving friends...is it Friday yet?

Today was the first use of this brush, and I have to say it performed very well. Although it has the same knot that I had used in the Fuller, being that the knot is set higher, the bloom on this baby nice and full.

I bowl lathered this morning as I was adding extra menthol to the Proraso. The TGN knot whipped up a thick lather in no time, I doubt if I spent a minute building it.

The Progress again proved to me why it is my favorite razor, as it just performs as a razor should. If someone cannot get a good shave from a Progress, they should just set down DE's and try something else as it is foolproof.

The Aqua Velva gave me a nice freeze that should pair well with today's cool weather. I cannot wait to go outside, as the morning air is going to be cold and brisk, hopefully there will be some snow in the air later today.
