I must admit that I'm not up on my Tech razors, but have not found any pics yet that look like this Tech I recently picked up. The hollow handle reminds me of a 40s style Super Speed knurling pattern. It has the Gillette diamond and Made In England on the bottom of the head. Apologies for the cell phone pics.
English Tech or Franken-Brit Tech...?

On first impression, it looks like a "Franken-Brit Tech". The handle is exactly like the one on my British NEW.
To me, it looks like a gold-plated/formerly gold-plated Tech head on a British NEW handle.
Then again, I am no authority on this subject.
