Empire gunmetal - only gold plated razors, or silver too?

Title pretty much says it all. Just got this case, now I'm wondering how narrow the razor search has to be. Were they strictly gold plated, or did the gunmetal case come with silver too?

edit: at least I think it's the gunmetal case, though I suppose it could be just very very tarnished silver. I guess if it's silver then I'll know to get the silver razor.

I saw that auction. I'm pretty sure it's tarnished silver. The Empire gunmetal case should look like black lacquer paint. Like this

But to answer your original question the gunmetal set razors are gold according to the Gillette catalog numbers.

If it is silver it looks like it will polish up really nice. The other nice thing about this case, other then the great price, is the inside velvet looks really nice. I know you'll love it.

I put my snipe bid in at $55. Can't believe it went so cheap. The plating on the new is in pretty good shape as well.

A word of caution, the gun metal case looks like a seriously tarnished silver case so be sure it is silver before you go all out trying to polish it as you will start removing the gun metal finish.
