Elaborate on this (Weber) Razor's Description

I just bought that. And as with all things I buy, I have misgivings (after, of course, the state of ecstasy of having bought it).
I sent Weber an email, and am far too impatient to wait for their response.

In the title, it states: "polished head". Is the head brand new? Is the whole razor newly manufactured, for that matter? It seems to imply that the head would have to be polished because it was previously used/scuffed.
Also, is the head manufactured by Weber as well, or is it of another generic brand? If so, is it ARC or DLC?
I mean, I know that they often run out of stock, but this was my first time on their website. Was I just lucky enough to chance upon their product on a day when the razor head wasn't out of stock?

You have purchased a NEW (and excellent) razor, not a used and re-polished one. The polished head is their latest design and is being descriptively advertised in contrast to their previous designs which were both coated heads (DLC coating and ARC coating).

I believe it's polished stainless steel with a matte finish underneath. You will LOVE the Weber razor. What handle did you get? I have the Weber Arc with Classic Arc handle and it's my favorite razor hands down. I have and/or owned several vintage Gillettes, Mulhle R89, Edwin Jagger DE 89, Cadet, Sabi, Feather SS...and I always come back to my Weber. I use it 95% of the time. No reason to question your purchase. It's a great value for a SS razor! An excellent choice! By the way, I believe they came up with a polished head version to compete with other SS razors that hit the market...above the tie, Tradere, etc,

I was wondering why it wasn't advertised as ARC or DLC

Just got a new Weber razor bulldog w/ polished head in a trade and it is beautiful. Polished is just a finish - it looks like chrome.

That's an excellent razor. I got mine with the wave handle but also have a bulldog that I throw on every now and then. It's probably my favorite razor right now.

recently discovered what a great shaver this weber is (mine was a DLC), never thought I would like a mild shaver like that as many other mild ones have been tried and left my house again. There is something about it that's just right for me.
