DR Harris Eucalyptus and Menthol

I just got an update on FB from DRH saying that their new eucalyptus and menthol shaving cream is now available? This is the first I've heard of it. It's gotta be good stuff. I may have to get a tub for summer even though I have way too much Proraso and SMN anyway.

Just noticed Connaught has the Eucalyptus cream in stock, both tube and tub. Couldn't find it at any other vendors yet. Very tempted to order one, just to find out how similar it is to Proraso green.

The rose cream isn't new, it's been around since 2010 at least, don't really know when it was released.

I have had nothing but good experiences ordering from Connaught. They ship from the UK to the US in about a week. I can't attest to their shipments to Norway as I haven't even ever been there but even with the shipment having to pass through several countries postal systems (shipments to the US from the UK pass through only those two systems) I think you would be happy with them.

It was merely to inform that they seemed to be the only stocking vendor at the moment. I have probably placed more orders at Connaught than all other shaving vendors combined, so I can attest to their shipments to Norway. As quick as they come from UK (7 days, reliably), every time. I am in fact very happy with them!

I got some D.R. Harris samples direct from them and one of them is their Eucalyptus cream.

I must say, I am very impressed. The only other Eucalyptus creams I've used before were Omega and Razorock S. Maria. Although I have used other fragrances of TOBS, GFT, EJ, Poraso, Razorock and some others. I'm ready to trash the Omega and Razorock S. Maria, not simply because I was not using them, but because DRH Eucalyptus puts Omega and Razorock S. Maria to such shame

DRH Eucalyptus having menthol and using it in my scuttle was a fun experience. The warmth and cooling together were so nice to feel. The fragrance is a nice fresh Eucalyptus scent, they don't try to tinker with that eucalyptus is expected to smell like. The cream's performance during the shave is total LUXURY. My Futur with the Feather blade was gliding through wiskers, the cream made it so smooth. No tugging or pulling at all. After the shave my face was soft and moist. It's the next day and things are still looking smooth from last night's shave.

This cream certainly displayed the expected difference between a $30 cream (DRH) and a $7 cream (Omega/Razorock).

The scent isn't as strong as heavy as Proraso, but its close on the cooling tingle effect. I personally would pick it 7 days a week over Proraso just on the lather, but YMMV. Hope this helps.

Thanks for that review. I would consider buying it but I still have 1 1/2 tubs of Santa Maria Novella (and that 1/2 tub started of as 3/4 full and I have been working on it for a year )

Any other reviews? Also, I'm curious to know if the cream is scented only with essential oils, or if it has an added fragrance.
