Did anyone use Maggard new Super High Density knot?

I just got this today. It's the Maggard 30mm SHD 2 band in a Turn N Shave custom handle. It's a new kind of knot for me and i wasn't really sure what to expect, but holy cow! I don't know if it's the knot or what, but my face hasn't been this soft and smooth since i was about 5! I'm really liking this knot! It has more backbone than I'm used to but I'm sure I'll adjust to it.

Do you know how deeply the knot is set?

It's set at 50mm loft. I just had him set it at the maggards recommendation.

I didn't post a second photo of my 22mm SHD because it actually bloomed very little. I remember my Stirling 24mm Finest nearly doubling in size when it bloomed.

I'll probably do the same as oscar11 and purchase a second as a backup.

P.S.: Oddly enough, my knot didn't have a smell to it. My 22mm is also set in a 24mm hole.

What knot do you like best maggard or stirling thank you
