This morning, I went to get a fresh blade, from my pack of Voskhods, and was a bit dismayed to find that when I pulled out a paper sleeve, there was an extra blade right on top of it, which could have cut me, if I was not paying attention. This extra blade was a defective blade (the steel was bent) that somehow made it into the pack, without any paper wrapping.
Has anyone ever had this happen before? I realize that things are bound to slip through quality control, every now and then, but given the nature of the product, it is a little unsettling. I don't expect to come into contact with a sharp blade until I open up its protective wrapper.
