Corter Leather Bottlehook- Probably the best thing ever.

I picked one up during their kickstarter campaign a couple months ago.... received it this week and I honestly can't believe nobody has done this before (that I know of).

It seems silly, but I have actually put a lot of thought and time into finding the perfect keychain bottle opener. I can't stand most of the ones commonly available because they're either too flimsy, too bulky, too small, etc. While a little on the pricey side, the Bottlehook is not only highly functional and lacks all of those previously mentioned flaws, but it's darn perty to boot and a great addition to your keychain.

Oh yeah, did I mention that hook part is for putting on your belt loop? Very handy and a lot more secure than you would think.

Huh, neat. I use a JDM Pacu pocket tool. It's kind of like an Atwood tool, which is another type of cool pocket opener.

I used to carry something similar, but It kept poking me in the leg while my keys were in my pocket.

I just open bottles with my tungsten wedding band.

I used to have a ring that was a bottle opener. Heh, I should find that again, now I have a spare finger.

To the OP, that is a nice piece of kit. I have a vintage bottle opener/ keyring that looks like a ladies leg on my keys. I think it was an advertisement for a hosiery company.

I really like those, good buy. I used to carry a Saddleback leather keychain (no function, but man I love their leather) and a little aluminum moose from Yellowstone who's antlers served as a bottle opener. Too bulky though.

Looks like the hook might also function as a letter opener. Though the inside edge probably needs to be thinner in order to not rip through the paper, its probably better than using a finger.

It looks awesome, but also that the hook would get caught in pants..etc

The shape reminds me of Japanese fishhook keychains, which are also great, but don't have the added functionally of a bottle opener.

I've had this bottle opener on my keychain for 17 years. Got it in college from the campus anti drunk driving campaign. It had the phone number on it for the Call A Ride And Live program. The writing has long since worn off, but the bottle opener is still going strong!
