Had mine done last December, all good. Word of advice for anyone thinking about it. JUST DO IT! It's not that horrible a procedure or prep and having seen my brother in law go thru tons of chemo for his stage 4 cancer, it a no brainer.
Best wishes and thank you for your serviceThe Veterans Administration in Syracuse NY,
took 5 polyps from me yesterday.
They have me on a 3 year schedule.
The blissful propofol sleep is worth the price of admission. For mine they knocked me out with propo-something. No recollection of it at all. Last thing I remember was the sensation of the anesthetic, then next thing I knew I was sipping passion fruit juice.
Glad you were screened. Unfortunately colon cancer can progressive relatively quickly depending on circumstances so it is nothing to take lightly. If caught early it has one of the better outcomes of cancers.Polyps found the last 2 times. Colon cancer moves pretty slowly so every 5 years isn't so bad. It's a good way to lose weight.

For fun, I weighed myself before and after the purge. I went down about 8lbs. It went back on in a week.If only I could keep it off!
