Goofy, but your average dude would probably be better off after watching the video. At least it mentions directional shaving and post/prep to some degree. Of which, most guys have no clue.

I read the comments in this thread first before clicking on the link. Your post got me curious so I watched the vid and I also don't see and goofy or ridiculous tips in this vid.

Is it because he is not using a $300 brush with some MWF, a razor purchased from the B/S/T and some aftershave that smells like a retirement home that makes this vid goofy and ridiculous?

I agree. Lots of common sense stuff in the clip.

There is another one where he goes to Walmart and talks about how the Gillette Fusion is superior because of it's 5 blade model and talks it up. You can tell the cash is rolling in from Gillette.

But I do think the one I linked was pretty decent, except for lathering shave gel with a brush, first time i've ever seen that.

It's a bit overacted IMO which is what I think is the goody part. But the tips are decent. I actually use the product regularly and find it to be quite effective and reasonably priced.

Yeah, I really don't see what's so funny about this clip, other than some over-acting. It's just a commercial.
