I'm currently looking for a soap or shampoo bar that is made for both body and hair. I'd prefer something soap based versus detergent based. Just seems easier to use one bar for everything than to use multiple products. At least in the shower, shaving is a completely different story. Any recommendations you all could give me would be great. Thanks.

I don't know that any really good shampoo bar is what you would want to use on your body, although it should work fine.
I use the shampoo bar from www.mysticwatersoaps.com and it is really nice. You can call Michelle on the phone and ask her about using it as a body bar.

Go to the Chagrin Valley site, select FAQs, select FAQs about shampoo bars, then go to the bottom where it talks to the differences between shampoo bars and body bars. Should be of interest to you in your quest.
I know that your looking for both but when it comes to shampoo bars the one sold at the "Lush" store does a great job.
Lately I have been using Kiss My Face Olive Oil soap for body and hair washing needs and it works great for me.
