Blending Soaps and/or Creams. Whats your favorite so far?

Since sampling a frankincroap (or what ever name suits you) I have been having a ball mixing together bits and pieces and am keen to know what other Gents have tried and rate.
So far I am taking the trial and error approach ie: using whatever I can find, but will plan better as I get some results.
I have been using both hard soaps and creams together and adding pure coconut, essential oils, AS's etc etc.
Any good recipes and tips?

Thank you !

I've been experimenting for a while, trying to create a pre-mixed superlather, while keeping the cost as low as possible. After several tries, here's the most successful:

2.5oz VDH Deluxe (1 puck)
2oz Dove bath soap (1/2 bar)
3 Tbsp KMF mint
1 Tbsp Headslick
1/2 tsp peppermint oil

I grate and mix together the VDH and Dove, add the liquids, mix by hand and press into a bowl. The initial consistency is very soft and moist, but after a few days, it sets up to resemble a firm croap. I think it makes wonderful lather that performs quite well, but of course YMMV. The fragrance could use some work, it's not unpleasant, mild and minty, but unlikely to win any prizes.

My experimentation has been limited, but, I like what I've done.

I Really like VDH D and COB, so, I mix one or both of those in my mixes.

Here is my second batch of 1 and 3/4 VDH D pucks with a small tube of COB. (my first batch lasted about 9 months)

Also, I bought a $15 puck of GFT Coconut, in January. Well, I was new to shaving soaps, and, it took me several months to realize that even experienced shavers were very unhappy with the current GFT soaps. So, I mixed that puck with 1/4 puck of VDH D and some COB (don't remember how much), and, I am very happy with that mix.

I know it's very basic. There are some pretty experienced soap mixers and makers here, and, I enjoy reading their experiences.
