Best. Shave. EVER.

Well the stars aligned for me last night, I guess. I got my Dirty Bird scuttle and some new Queen Charlotte stuff in the mail yesterday and fired it all up before bed. I used the Coconut cream with my flare tip Rocket and Astra SP and the results were just FANTASTIC. BBS with no irritation whatsoever, the cream smelled awesome, and the warm lather from the scuttle was beyond description. My face is still smooth today, and that's remarkable for me with my 36-grit beard.

I'm reminded of the movie Tin Cup, where Costner is talking about the "one good shot, when that tuning fork rings in your loins" and you're hooked from then on. Let me tell you, if I wasn't already hooked, I would be now.

It's going to be hard to top that shave. Anybody else have one that really stands out?

My best shaves come when I really take my time and am not in a hurry, which is... not often!

But when they happen I can't stop facturbating

Those that stands out the most are the ones when I shave that one or two days growth stubble.

For anybody that's on the fence, I can't recommend the scuttle enough. I've been at this for a good while now, and that just brought everything to a whole new level. If you like a warm shave, you gotta get one ASAP.

Irisch Moos (or another great stick) + brush scuttle (not lathering scuttle) + big brush

This combination is pretty much unbeatable for me.

I kid. I also have never hit that level of shave yet. So I am jealous. And therefore bitter.
