Automobile Horn Recommendations

So after someone decided to pull into the right lane of the freeway from the shoulder from a dead stop and not speed up fast enough, the low-tone horn of my dual-horn system died. It sounds pathetic with just the high-tone horn.

It didn't help when I semi decided to slowly push me out of my lane when I was right next to it, mid-length, during stop and go traffic yesterday so I figure that I need to replace my stock horns as soon as possible with some LOUD ones.

I've been poking around Amazon.com and have seen the Hella Supertones but they should too high pitched for me. Does anyone have any experience with replacement horns?

I'm in in heavy duty parts but my best advise is to get your VIN and all that info and talk to guys at different jobber dealers. It also wouldn't hurt to check out the OEM horn just so you have a price point for what they will give you... sometimes different shops will have the same part for less because dealerships are more often than not crazy overpriced.

I have a Stebel Brio on my car and a Nautilus on my bike. They are loud and get other driver's attention. You will have to pick and choose when it is worth to use it. The only problem with Stebel horns is they are rather large and sometimes difficult to fit.

You can get them from:

Bosch Europa horns are louder than Hellas, IMO. Youtube is a good way to get an idea of how horns sound but not how loud they are.
