Are DE blades all the same?

Obviousl there are differences, but will most fit in a standard typical DE handle?

I am buying a sample pack of a variety of different blades, but I was unsure as to whehther or not my typical handle can accomadate all the different razors.

It makes little sense that the handle would have to be drastically different to accomodate the blades of different companies, so I am assuming there is some general uniformity amongst makers and that I can inter change different blade brands with little worry.

If you have a safety razor, than yes it should take any standard DE except the following:

A SE razor

A razor that the company made a unique blade for.

All blades should fit your razor.

The only combo that didn't fit was a (French) Lucky blade into a Wilkinson Sword Classic razor (a Treet razor in fact); the slot in the blades was too short and all the blades I tried snapped.

It took me 20 years of DE shaving to find this combo and in fact nothing is lost here; the blades are truly horrible and I don't like the razor also!
