What's new

Apparantly I did not think this all the way through

If I find a really nice razor I will wait for it to arrive before I shave again, this time I found a hardly used C.V. Heljestrand No. 10. Usually this is no big deal as it normally takes a few days to arrive and I have a good stubble to clean up. This one took three and a half weeks to get here from only two states over, I thought about shaving a few times but I held out and it arrived today but my wife has now told me that she likes my full beard and I should wait to shave...

Great, , Now I have to wait some more to use this,

I did hone it up on my Coticule then trimmed my beard, super smooth:thumbup1: !!!
(I didn't clean it thoroughly before taking the picture, I was too excited)

Aaargh! I don't know how much longer I can take the anticipation!

Grow a beard around here and you will be the butt of countless ridicules, become persona non grata, lose all respectability.....

Well guys the razor won out! I couldn't let that beauty sit there and taunt me like that. I took one pass at my beard and i am back. I got a very nice shave from that blade, this was the first time I have ever wiped a thick full beard clean off my face without a battle. A truely unique experience.

That is a nice razor, put some proper shoes on her and she will be quite a looker
Doc, what do you recommend? I like the plain black look on the swedes and I was planning on just repairing these, they were damaged in shipping :mad3:. What material? Are there other materials that were used on these from the factory?
The No. 10 came in this package marked MK does that mean it was an MK?

I haven't restored any of them just honed and shaved. My ancestors are Finns and Swedes so they hold a special place for me.
