I find myself collecting stuff again, and I hate having unused stuff in my shave den, it bothers me for some reason. So, Having acquired both a Henson AL13++ and a Yaqi Ghost Ti 70 recently, I decided to unload my Shick Krona. I don't need that many mild razors and I have not used it in years anyway.
This is a PIF intended for those who love mild (not medium/mild, but MILD razors) or for a new shaver who has not yet chosen a razor (easy to get analysis paralysis around here
) but would like a vintage beginner razor. Please, if you have a DE89/R89 or 34C and find yourself thinking, "I like this but I'd really like something a little milder." Jump right in!
OTOH, if you have those or similar and love them and have not found them too aggressive, or if you like aggressive razors, please DO NOT join in. You won't like this, trust me whe I say it is MILD. Ideally, I'd like it to go to someone who loves or needs mild razors and will shave with it as opposed to someone trying to fill a hole in a collection where it will likely sit unused.
This is a highly regarded mild shaver by many here, especially head shavers. I'll throw in a dispenser of the circa 1970s Schick Plus Platinum blades with it. I'll choose a winner next Saturday.
It's been used by me, perhaps twice, just cleaned with Scrubbing Bubbles and 91% alcohol. Ready to shave!
