Agressive razor recommendation

Hello guys, I made a thread yesterday asking if choosing a merkur 33c would be a good razor choice as I only own the lord L6 at the moment. I wanna try something different and i wanna hear some opinions as to what would be step up from the lord l6, I'm looking for a more aggressive razor. My price range is $40 but you can also suggest anything a bit above that price. I was looking at the EJ89 but I heard it's a bit on the mild side, and also considered the Parker razors. So guys what do you recommend.

DE89 is aggressive compared to most, the blade gap is pretty big. It also is very smooth and after trying an HD, r41, and several Gillette vintage razors, it is my favorite.

Red Tip Gillette Superspeed. Go vintage. I like them much better than most newer razors.

A good choice. I have an A2 that I rather like. I get a BBS without too much risk of doing myself an injury. It's aggressive, but not too aggressive - a good first step on the way to a Futur. Who knows, you may fall in love and stay with it.

All good recommendations - I would take a pass on the Parker however - chances are, you would receive one that would be of mediocre build quality, if not worse.

The EJ DE89/Muhle R89 is extremely mild. I would try the Merkur slant if you want a razor that is more aggressive without getting too crazy.

You can get an R41 delivered for €29.78 ($36.71) from Connaught Shaving.

I've shaved with one the past 4 days...awesome. Two passes and some insignificant touch-up.

Be advised, it is probably the most aggressive non-straight razor you can find.

I have a red tip and a FaTip, and they are also very nice, and despite my love for old razors I have to tip my hat to the FaTip.

You could also get a Gillette Slim or Fatboy and use it on 9. I start with 9, then 7 on my 2nd pass, then 4 or 5 for touch-up.
