I'm looking for an adjustable razor for fairly delicate daily shaving

As written in the title, I am looking for a razor for daily shaving (or every 2 days) that is not too aggressive given my delicate skin. I was keeping some models under observation:
- rockwell 2c or 6c
- parker variant
- merkur progress
- pearl flexi
what do you recommend?

Well, I haven't used any of those, but I have a Yaqi Final Cut I'm pretty fond of. It is a copy of the classic Gibbs razor. I'm generally on 4 or 5, but settings 1-3 are very mild in my opinion.

I'd try looking over the suggestions people gave you last time. You asked and didn't reply to any of them.

For adjustables, the Gillette Slim continues to be my favorite. It can be very mild up to moderately aggressive. But of the original group you listed, and the requirement for mildness, the Rockwell 6C is a winner. Even the higher settings are fairly mild.

It seems like all the Gibbs-derived modern adjustables are fairly aggressive unless you set them at the lowest setting, based on what I've read here. A vintage Gillette adjustable (Slim, Fatboy or Super Adjustable) would be an excellent choice. They're very mild up to about setting 5. They're barely even shaving you at 1 or 2.

Progress and the Gillette slim adjustables are very nice shaves. I like the pearl, but it’s more aggressive. I don’t have the Rockwell but have the others.

Variant can go from very mild to fairly aggressive and is a very comfortable shaver. I have two (the original and the OC) and love both.

Slim is, for me, a fairly complicated razor. Getting a DFS is easy, but BBS requires some work. I'd definitely place Variant higher in smoothness and comfort.

I think you'll find the Pearl Flexi to be more aggressive than you like.

Variant/Progress...Variant has a more grippy handle, Progress looks better, and I think, glides on the skin better due to the chrome finish. Haven't used my Variant in years because one time when unscrewing the cap, the entire razor disassembled itself without any prompting from me. I've never bothered to reassemble it.

Rockwell 6C. I have this one too. I just put on the "4" plate and stick with it. I don't ever see myself switching plates on any razor, mid-shave. I will adjust a razor during a shave, such as with my Futur or Yaqi Ultima, As I prefer to go all the way down to "1" to got atg under my nose.

But of the razors you haven't mentioned, I'll also endorse the Yaqi TFC. A Gibbs type for less than $30? I can't understand why everyone doesn't have one of these.

From your list I’ve only used the Progress. Very nice razor if you don’t mind a bulky head.

If the OliBlade makes a comeback then I would recommend it without hesitation. It is super smooth at all settings and is very easy on the skin.
