A very nice Durham Duplex boxed set

If there's any Durham Duplex fans out there here is a really nice early boxed set. It's not cleaned up yet. They are not my favorite razor to shave with but I still find them very cool for what they were, A safety razor and straight in one. I mean if you are a serious razor collector you gotta have one along with a Rolls Razor, they're too much a part of razor history.

Here are some pics of the boxed set after I just polished everything. I also posted pics of some of my other Durham razors, which I believe are later models. What's cool about the old boxed set is that it contains everything that Durham made in one set, the straight, the safety razor and I believe a stropper adapter.

I still think the Weck beats out the Duplex, but I'm a Weck junkie.

Here's my DD with packs of original blades. One of the first sets I bought. Never have seen a set like yours that comes with that many pieces. Very cool.

I'm still looking for a Durham Demostrator with a RED handle. Have measured the blade angle at 8 degrees and eventually will touch up each side using a 4 degree wedge
