A slow cup of coffee

Been too long since I've had time to be here and I have missed the place. 4 elderly parents have had us buried the last year and this is the first chance the Missus and I have had to get away for months. She is till sleeping in, I'm looking out at the mountains and working on a cup of condo coffee. Hope ou all have been well, Kevin

It's nice to see you back Kevin. I hope you are enjoying your vacation and getting caught up on your rest.

Slow cups are a luxury. The fast ones are too many. Though it's late in the day, I am enjoying one right now. And, I put a small dash/drop of olive oil in my cup with it. And a pinch of cinnamon with sugar. It feels more weighty that way, maybe a little more flavor as well.

Well...maybe, there is something we discover that is wonderful, something that is unearthed for who and what we buried, or for what buries us, as we sip. Memories and moving forward. Quiet cups of coffee.
