About midway through the 2nd pass the razor started getting very aggressive. I thought I'd lost my angle or forgotten about no-pressure. Panic! Maybe I've forgotten how to shave with this razor!

Nope. The blade had hopped the blade stop on one side. Repositioned the blade and all was good through the rest of the shave. Guess I'll be ok for the next 348 shaves ...

Tonight I used the R6 plate to give the Rockwell a little extra bite to chase that BBS. The Rockwell/Personna Platinum combo is currently my favourite although I am due to receive a Muhle Rocca R94 so that may change.
Long story short good shave, BBS finish.

Soap: Saponificio Varesino Opuntia
Brush: Yaqi 24mm synthetic cashmere
Razor: Rockwell 6S R4, Ti Handle, Wizamet SI #4
Bowl: Turkish copper
Post-shave: Nivea Balm, Hyaluronic Acid.

Got a perfect (and abundant) lather. These hammered copper lathering bowls are a worthwhile upgrade from repurposed kitchenware.

Let the Rockwell autopilot kick in, for a comfortable DFS.

Shave #18. Shaves don't get any easier for me than with a Karve and Gillette Yellow. Except the temporary setting of the knot in this handle fell apart today.

Back to the Atlas handle and, just for fun, used a Crystal. It may just be minute variation in technique, but the Crystal gave me a closer shave than the Gillette Silver Blue.
