Notes to these shaves:

A simple gentle shave with the Fatip Gentile. Smooth sailing and a nice end result.

Technique is dialling in and I like it!

Soap is both heading to 3017 and it will be a long time coming to actually finish it. I need little product for maximum lather. Enjoyed my nee boar brush. It shed a hair today no biggy.

I know I said RAD was dead and I think it still is, but I have spotted a Short Comb that might just make it to the collection.

SE SOTD, Friday, May 19th 2022,#139 of 139 consecutive daily shaves.

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur SE 50mm AC with a Milano 316 polished handle-Mfg 2021>, mild to tame mid range- simple clamping system, small head parts. Very affordable and it delivers consistent results 95%> of time for myself. Daily driver for some folks.
Blade : Schick proline p30- sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity. Good combination with the Yaqi Excalibur razor IMO.
Soap : TOBS sandal wood cream, nice herbal sandal wood scent 6-7/10 + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Sagrada Familia" 24mm Tuxedo knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Brush was named after the famous Cathedral in Barcelona Spain that I visited years ago.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ogallala Bayrum & Sandal wood + a dollop of Geo F Trumper Sandalwood skin food.
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi Excalibur razor with a Schick proline 50mm coated blade. Very enjoyable shave this morning even with a lot of wildfire smoke every where in our Province of Alberta Canada, terrible year for fires & we need some rain ASAP!

Tonight as my MWF arrived on 19th May 2019 I thought I'd celebrate its 4th birthday with a birthday shave. It is a great soap and very slick but so long lasting. In my mind it has taken on an almost mythical status and I started to feel like I was never going to finish it. That was what decided me to add it to my 3017 list and if I can finally make it through this soap it will prove I can take any soap.
For this shave I decided on the Rocca as it's still my favourite razor with the BIC blade.
The shave was as usual a pleasure, and although not a BBS finish it was still a great shave

Got short of time, so had a surprisingly good autopilot DFS.

It is a great soap and very slick but so long lasting. In my mind it has taken on an almost mythical status and I started to feel like I was never going to finish it.

I used almost nothing but MWF for ~ 18 months, and only managed to kill two, the original in the pottery bowl plus one refill.

Due to Backup Disorder careful forward planning, I have 4 refills as well as the one in play...
