Tonight as a celebration of the rare sunshine we have received today I pulled out Don Marco lathered with the Purple Mink. It is just the most orangey of scents and one I love in hot weather. I really wanted to use the Rocca as it is better than the Lupo with the BIC blade and I still need to find the best blade for me to use with the Lupo.
The shave, as with all Rocca shaves was effortless and so close that it was a near BBS with three passes

Notes to these shaves:

The Flatboy best serves me with a large handle so it’s easier for me to adjust the angle. And I have found the Flatboy works better when shaving shallow (for me) or at least shallower compared to my other shaves.
Headshave was very comfortable with the Flatboy - its geometry is perfect.

Tonight MWF made its last appearance before it's 4th birthday tomorrow. Lathered with the Moka-Express MWF is thick and slick and gives better shaves than many soaps that are much more expensive. The Lupo even loaded with a blade that does not bring out the best in it is still a formidable piece of kit, with the right handle.
The shave was close and comfortable ending in a near BBS
