A fresh Dorco ST300 was the blade of choice this morning with the open comb set up in the Karve.
Resulted in a few minor weepers, but still a lovely shave.

Not being able to buy new stuff makes you re-evaluate stuff that you already have sitting at the back of a shelf.
I bought this tube of Trishave in 2017-18 and used it a couple of time but then forgot about it.
Used it as a preshave last week for the first time. It works well for that as it has slickness but no lather.
Takes a bit of getting used to shaving without a lather. I think it would work better with a milder closed comb such as my aluminium tech or a BIC sensitive disposable while travelling. (The tech is what I used it with when I first got the Trishave)
Missed a patch due to lack of visual lather. I think I'll keep it as a preshave.

I’m still going at it. It’s been two days since I’ve become unemployed and two days since I’ve shaved. The XO is commenting on how gruff I look. I will need a shave later today as my retirement dinner is tonight. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

My feet were hurting a lot so I was only able to do a one pass shave with pickups on 7 days growth. It was barely a SSA.

Just out of curiosity, how much stropping (in a machine) does it take too get to this many shaves?
Or don't you do anything to that blade and just brave it until it no longer cuts any hairs?

Well Gents … I couldn’t (or just didn’t want to) resist the new Stirling Glacial lineup. I’m a sucker for menthol and I pulled the trigger on samples of all the new Glacials. I lasted in this restraint until May, and I am pleased that I got this far.

I was out of the 365/366 on day 1. It's been a long time since I shaved daily and don't see myself ever going back to it.
