A member here on B&B told me this one could be Japanese, possibly made by Kitschy. I haven't been able to find anything on the internet. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
Here are two japanese razors that I picked up recently. Both were bought as nos the atlas needed some time on the hone but the ribbon was just in need of s good stropping.
Atlas for barbers use and ribbon razor, both about 6/8 and very similar blade shape. The atlas is a heavier grind while the ribbon is more hollow ground.

Thanks Alex. Quite happy with the blades. The ribbon razor has some interesting company history behind it, still trying to gather info on the atlas.
Agreed - main reason I bought it. The seller said 'very slight taper' when in reality I would say it's definitely more than that as it's got fair amount of wear towards the toe. But the scales are fantastic and it honed up well.

I really love the shape (and swirling colors) of those scales. Really different. I can't tell if it's a western or kamisori grind. Nice looking stone!

The eiko is a western grind near wedge. It just mows down the hair.
Is that a super kikuboshi?
It is a gorgeous razor. I have a super kikuboshi and love it. The shave is like nothing else.
