My first frameback: a NOS Suzumasa with a blued tang and spine. I wasn't sure I would take to the framebacks, as I initially found them unattractive... Suffice to say, my mind has been changed!

Iwasaki 50mm kamisori

I stropped on pasted balsa which I can’t even remember that last time I used. It bumped up the sharpness a bit and wasn’t as harsh as yesterday’s 12k edge. This was definitely my best shave yet with a kamisori.

Final shave for the week for me, and it was a corker. I probably overbid for this Focus, but it is Yasuki steel and the scales are gorgeous, so I have zero regrets! Magnificent shave to finish the week; Manuel's soaps are my favourite, and the Antesol is a brilliant finish every time.

This thread has been a lot of fun, and I have really enjoyed ogling all these beautiful razors and knives. Thank you all!

Coral, razors made by Takaga Riki, who also made the SanKan razors. These are very well made razors like the SanKan. The brush was a Simpsons Keyhole and the software was Floris Elite.

2) Picker Kami " Amazing shaver and rank up there with my Tamahagane blades"
3) Henkotsu kami smaller of two I own"white steel"
4) Tsurayuki Kami "Not sure what type of steel but it's really good.
All are great shavers.
