What's new

Let's see your favorite shaving mug.

Look, I had this artisan scuttle prior to my Timeless bowl. On top of its beauty, it lathers great.
Despite the fact that I like beautiful things, at the end of the day I use whats the most practical.
Like the Timeless bowl, or the bakelite razor.
I tend to enjoy plastic more than those beautiful ceramics:

Wow that’s a great looking scuttle/lather bowl.

Indeed Yoresh's scuttles are works of art!

This is my one and only Old Spice mug. It's from the late 40's and belonged to my grandfather. By far my favorite, and used daily. Currently contains VDH Luxury.

This was my Grandfather’s mug. It is approximately 100 years old and used daily by me to soak my brush. For me it is a connection to the past. It sat in a china closet for many years until his death in 1984 when I inherited the china closet and the mug. It continued to sit on a shelf until I returned to wet shaving several years ago.

Just found out about Seaforth and found a "stoneware" version. Can't wait for it to arrive and use (at least once). I've heard the decals are fragile, but I usually don't get lather on the outside.
