Yeah, I'm very close to the water table here so I'm preparing for the worst.
We live in the high side of town so we’re not at risk of flooding, I have however been clearing gutters in anticipation.
You're about to get some. Stocked up on beer and other essentials?
Got blades and soap until March and Scot h until August. I'm good. 
Thanks for the reminder, I have a gutter adjacent to a palm which was full of detritus. Had to get out while there was still light!
Damn, there’s one gutter that I didn’t check. Looks like I’ll be doing that first thing tomorrow morning.

I think that I’d be more worried about getting home.
I get into work about 6:30-7am and I was surprised at how 'free' the freeway was. Must be a few tradies decided to take the day off I think.

They are forecasting mere MILLIMETERS of rain. No inches, at all.
They've down graded the warnings now, at one stage they were predicting 120mm on Saturday, over 10mm an hour. That would have been bad.
