@DabblinRazors - I guess you could call this neat photo "One Nutty Shave," Eddie. Sounds like KMF may be a winner for you.

Thus far, no itching so, you may be right, Sir Ron. For quick shaves, it's a shame because I am fond of the Cremo Cooling, but I just cannot use it anymore. The Kiss My Face served the same purpose quite well and I did like the face-feel afterwards. All that said, I much prefer the days when I have the extra minute or two for the quality soap and shaving brush.

@azwetshaver - Did the Christmas in Tuscany perform well, Gabe?

It has mediocre performance. I remember it being better. The lather was thick but it wasn't dense. It seemed light. I believe this affected the protection. I tried loading more, but it didn't help. To be fair, I just finished an extended period of using Valobra Cologne. I may have been spoiled by that great soap. :biggrin1:

Weber DLC razor
7 am Platinum Plus blade
Vie-Long Silver Tip brush
Taconic Mint & Eucalyptus SC
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
M&L Florida Water cologne w/added menthol

Decided to use my Weber again, it's been awhile since I did. The 7 am blade was definetely not a good choice and that's all I'll say about that. The Taconic SC is very nice, easy to lather and that lather is great. Just don't care for the small container it comes in. So, it's an OK shave that will do for today. Now go enjoy your day folks.

@shm - How is the Lanolizado cream? I imagine it goes well with the Arlington.

The cream is very nice. It got great protection and glide and I like the scent too - hard to describe as it doesn't have a particular fragrance, but very nice and "round".
It is actually quite hard and would do well in a tin.

Another not so great morning shave.
I simply must stop trying in the morning. I am always rushed and have never ever had a good morning shave.

That's part of the reason I went pretty much all Proraso today. The stuff never fails, yet on a morning shave it was not the best. And I know that is 100% on me.

razor: Merkur 34c
brush: Elite Razor Silvertip
bowl: Turkish hammered copper bowl
Proraso pre
Proraso travel size tub soap
Proraso aftershave

How do you like the Darkfall?

I love my L&L soaps. I have the Trismegistus and just ordered the TSM Fougere. They, along with Barrister and Mann and Mike's Naturals they are my favorite artisan soaps.
