OH yeah! And lemme tell you, the stuff lives up to the hype. It's everything a vintage, tallow soap should be. And more. No scent left and I don't care.
Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: 26mm Simpson "Chubby 2", 2-band Super Badger
Razor: 7/8" Giesen & Försthoff decorated back, Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point
Strop: 30/50/50 (Neil Miller Linen / Imperial Horsehide leather / Imperial Cordovan leather)
Soap: La Toja "Manantiales" Shave Soap
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender, no alcohol)
Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: La Toja "Manantiales" AS
Cologne: La Toja "Manantiales" EdC
Results: The G&F did not disappoint. Her edge was still sharp and smooth after being ignored for a while....Just a few laps around the strops and she was as good as new. The La Toja soap was simply amazing!!! Every moment of the prep was a delightfully enjoyable experience. Today, I paid special attention and made sure I used literally zero pressure and short strokes during the entire shave...The result was very rewarding and smooth experience

Unfortunately most large US companies sell multi-blade-cartridge-trash instead of quality shaving products. Thank goodness for the smaller independents.
Did some digging and found a partial glass bottle of Aqua Velva blue and bottle of Shulton Old Spice A/S which I will use for the remainder of the week.
If my Mama Bear sticks get here this week they will definitely be used.
