Whilst checking out the shaving section at my local (Walmart) Asda, I spotted the new King C. Gillette blades. I've seen quite a few King C. Gillette items there, but never the blades (on their own) before.

Considering the incredible amount of packaging (for 10 blades) I decided I would purchase the £5 (50p/blade) pack, just to see what they were like. Normally packaged 10 packs (usually Personna or Dorco) tend to retail at ~£2 in Asda and other UK Supermarkets.

At least all that packaging is biodegradable (just card and paper) :

Pre-Shave: CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser Bar, Proraso White Pre Shave - soften stubble & protects skin
Soap: PdP No. 63 - lathers easily, smells good, good performer
Aftershave: Thayers WH Aloe Vera Formula, Duke Cannon A/S Balm - very good combo

Passes: WTG, XTG, cleanup

Results: Quick 2 pass early morning Fatip Friday shave with my favorite razor, the mighty Piccolo. No time to Chase the BBS Dragon. Combined with the sharp & smooth Wizamet blade, achieved a DFS result. Very Good Shave. In honor of DecemBOAR 2021, I used my CVS drugstore boar brush. The CVS Blade Boar Brush is a good quality shave brush that has great face feel, comfortable handle, good backbone, splay, soft tips and whips up good lather. My other boar brush, the Omega 10049, was my first brush. 3 years later, it's still one of my favorite brushes. I currently have a small collection of 8 shaving brushes, 3 natural and 5 synthetic.

Very nice soap! Good strong scent, super creamy and slick lather...
Haven't used this Kamisori in more than a month...missed it very much! A very nice enjoyable shave session for a dfs/ccs finish. Just 1 micro red tip on the upper lip. Aftershaves were awesome.

Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Calvin Klein Eternity For Men ASL. /Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

A new shave set up to start the weekend....After the fantastic shaves i had with the Edwin Jagger DE 89/Derby Usta duo last week, i was curious to try out and pair up the Derby Premium with both the Mühle R89 & Merkur 34c to see if i get the same successful results as i did with the EJ DE89/ Derby Usta duo.

It's been a while since i last added the Omega 10051 boar to my brush rotation, and realised how much of a good brush this stout little brush is for face lathering.

Starting with the Mühle R89 the Derby Premium blade felt smooth and comfortable. Another impressive comfortable razor & blade duo.

As always the monsavon soap provided a luxurious protective slick lather...The monsavon au lait has to be one my favourite shaving soap to date. It's slick, protective and the post shave feeling it gives is superb making each shave i have had with it has been an enjoyable pleasurable experience.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pickups silky smooth shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.
