LOL Hysterical!By all means, buy the most expensive razor you can possibly afford, on the installment plan if necessary. That way, when you drop it in the shower, you will learn an important lesson.

Thanks. I'm definitely a daily shaver. I wonder though because in the Lupo thread here all kinds of people are saying the 95 is smoother than the 72. Your experience seems like the outlier.
I have the DC. The blade exposure is more or less the same (i have measured). The difference is the gap an the shaving angle. The 0.72 require a steeper angle. This might might be the reason the 0.72 side feel a little more rough.Thanks. Good suggestion on the DC, but I'm wondering if the 72SB might be the way to go. Somebody in this thread even said it was good as a daily driver, whereas the 95 was a bit much. Something to think about though. I have an SLOC that I love, so that 72OC might be to my liking. Thanks.
That rings an enormous bell inside my head...Thanks but I never do anything today. I analyze everything to death.
For $15 you could likely score an excellent Gillette Superspeed made out of Nickle plated brass with no alignment issues .. and without that ugly coating, made in the US even
I have this Yaqi Matte Black DE razor. It was my 3rd (I now have 30+) and I can tell you it is a very good but cheap razor without any alignment issues. This razor is just slightly more aggressive than the EJ89. During my initial use, I thought holy cow aggressive with lots of blade feel....but after awhile...no issues and it can give me a very good efficient shave similar to some of my higher priced razors. I have the CG.84-P and Karve Brass SB-D too and they're great as well and I am satisfied with DE razors for nowThis is my latest potential cheapy purchase. Looks like it could be fun, but I've also read it's quite aggressive and has blade alignment issues. Doubt the beast is more comfortable. It is definitely more efficient though. You will learn if you stay in this site long enough that there is a difference between aggressive feeling and aggressive actingI have the Razorock SLOC but the Beast looks way more aggressive. Think it's more comfortable than the SLOC?
I completely agree with this post. Mine is chrome and has no alignment issues. I was even using kai blades which makes it more aggressive. The sloc you have is a better razor But none of this matters if you're not going to get one now. Fair enough. Not sure what to tell you. I have both and both are excellent. I see people on the forums posting their daily shave that use the .72 version.
