What's new

Your lifetime setup??

1912 Gem Damaskeene
Treet blades
Vintage Williams soap (preferably from the Glastonbury plant)
Vintage Ever-Ready 300 brush
Vintage Shulton Old Spice cologne

Razor: Early 50's Gillette Super Speed
Blade: Toss up between Personna Lab Blue and Gillette 7O'clock Yellow
Soap: Proraso/CO Bigelow cream
Aftershave: Clubman :)

Brush (you didn't mention this): I don't know. I like my Tweezerman though.

I'm fairly new to this, having only been DE shaving for a few months, so it's really to early to do a good assessment for most products as I've only used a few soaps, a few aftershaves, and a couple of brushes.

However, I'm fairly certain on a couple of things.

Razor - Either a Slim or a Fatboy. Out of the eight razors I've used, those two are probably my favorite. And I like the ability to adjust the blade.
Blade - At this point in the game - Feathers.
Soap - I've only tried four, but I'm pretty happy with MWF and could probably choose it as part of my lifetime setup.

As far as brushes and aftershaves - I've tried too few to pick one at this point, though the aftershave would probably be a Bay Rum.

Easy for me.

I'd be totally happy with this.

Since you didn't include lifetime supply of batteries, I think your screwed. : )

Dang it! And I'm screwed for life! LOL...I might be good cause the handle comes with a battery...so I'd just keep getting handles I guess. This just got more expensive for whoever is supplying us :001_tongu

Hard question, but, here goes my picks:

If you were given a deal that you would be supplied with a lifetime supply of cream/soap MWF, aftershave Thayers Superhazel , blades carbon steel SE and razor (with one backup) Ever-Ready Streamline. If I got a brush, it would likely be an Eagle G3. I picked non-heavy scented items so I would not tire of them in a number of years. A brush really does help with cream/soap.

ide have a

Col conk amber
Semouge 1470 /only decent boar ive owned

If I had to pick right now:

Brush: I like my butterscotch retrofitted with a Golden Nib silvertip badger knot
Cream: Prorasso
Razor: Schick Hydromagic & the Schick brand blades (not too much choice in injectors!)
After Shave: Mandom (can I sneak some Clubman?)

All of these are subject to change based on whatever my current kick is.
