Ok, I am officially a convert. I got an edge back from Doc226 this week that blew my mind. I see the bank account declining after Christmas, and, I ain't saying the coticule is going on the market, but maybe the coticule is going on the market!
It is always dangerous to try out a good Jnat edge!
That's Mojo baby.
You should try and max out the coti before moving forward. A real nice coticule edge can be just as nice imo.
Moving the coti was just added for dramatic effect.

and just about anything else tooA good Jnat will always finish higher than a good coticule...
Oh snap..
I do not need to use pastes after mine no need at allLooks like if it's only micron size that counts then pastes/spays would beat them all.
you do not know the grit size of a Jnat , the particles are not spherical, they are flat like flakes. Those slurry particles break down by splitting into thinner pieces and may be also by breaking into smaller pieces as well. In the end the size may be comparable or finer to the usual pastes used.Never said spray/pastes were needed but if all we look at is the particle size (grit) then a Jnat would fall short of pastes and or spays.
I don't use them after a coticule either.
