So I have always wanted to use a brand new vintage razor, you know open it up and everything, but it feels like a sacrilege. I won this Schick on the bay. The razor is still on the card, but the injector was cut out. The seller had 5 of them listed last week, all the same. Since it is not "perfect NOS", would you go ahead and use it?

If you're in to collect and display the razors, then no. In my case, I use all of them, if they don't get love, I sell them!

It has little value as a NOS item to a collector, as it is not complete, and the package has been damaged.
I would totally use it, and you will experience some great shaves because of it!!

Razors are made for shaving. I'd take it for a spin.
I've bought a couple of L1s still in their package on eBay. I had no reservations of opening them up and using them. They're just razors at the end of the day, and not particularly rare ones; millions of those were manufactured. I guess you can say they're part of history, etc., but to me razors are meant to be used.
No I was fortunate to pick up several and a stack of blades,all n.o.s,a few years back.
I sold 4 of them on ebay last year and kept one for myself.

Use it! I love antiques and vintage stuff, but am strongly opposed to not using things.
The "trailer queens" at car shows are pretty, but a car is meant to be driven. I'd rather have a rock chip or two and a smile on my face than running a cloth diaper over something that sits in my garage.
I actually use all of my old furniture and play my old tube radios. I run all of my old electric fans and drive my 40 year old car. That's what they're meant for. It makes me happy to use them.

Use it or lose it.
I got a Personna Injector NOS sealed on a card like that, intact, with the blades. I certainly plan to use it. Even if your razor were intact with the blade package still in there, I'd say use it. To heck with the leave-it-unused-forever type collectors.
