What's new

Would like some input on nice creams similiar to TOBS

The only shaving cream i have used since my venture into wet shaving was Tailors of old bond streets almond scented cream that was at the beginning of this year. Not until recently i purchased a new tub of Taylors Mr taylor cream (mainly because my original tub is almost finally finished) and i really like the smell and it feels smoother for some reason not sure why it does say parabens free but not entirely sure what that is. But now to the point id like to know if im missing out on any if i decide to stick with the Taylor products.

Also how are Taylor's aftershaves? for ive never have used any after shave either

Truefitt & Hill (any scent) these are among my favorites
Geo. F. Trumpers coconut oil cream (amazing)

These should set you through until next year sometime

Alright sounds good ive heard of menthol creams dont know which ones are worth getting but i do love my menthol lotion

Proraso green should be cheaper than your tub of cream now and is a very strong menthol cream, I can't handle it much myself.

The 3 T's are all so similar, looking at all 3 would be good. Not sure what type of cream you're looking for or in what scent. The croaps like Cella are a good move towards soap because they're not as hard to load as soap, but it loads more like a soap than regular cream.

What do you mean by the three t's? As far as scent im not sure i started with the Taylors almond scent which i didnt mind but didnt really enjoy but i am loving Mr taylors scet also anyone wanna clue me in on what parabens are? I'll have to give the proraso a try it sounds like great stuff.

The 3 T's are:

1) Truefitt & Hill
2) Taylor of Old Bond Street
3) Geo F. Trumpers

Truefitt & Hill and Geo F. Trumper brands are a bit more expensive than TOBS (Taylor of Old Bond Street). I find that the TOBS St. James and Jermyn Street have the best scents. Try them out, you will not be disappointed.

I would like to recommend I Coloniali Rhubarb softening shave cream. Great cream. Very easy to get smooth and bubble free creamy lather.... but the best part is the scent. Kind of a smokey, fruity scent. Oh man... especially this time of year. I used it this morning (I usually re-visit some of my more luxurious creams and soaps on Sundays) and it had been way too long since the last time I used it. Great cream. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it's right up there with any other top tier cream I've tried. I would say you are missing out if you never got a chance to try this one.
