Worn plating at the head

I just bought a gold Gilette Tech on ebay for a sweet price. However, the plating as been worn down at the head.

Other than aesthetics will this really affect its use? It seemed to be in solid condition otherwise. If it does, I am not too worried about it due to the low price. I am hoping it doesn't however...

I to got a clog pruf micro cheap off of bay and it's a user razor doesn't look great but for the price in fills the bill. The mint or near mint razors I get I only use ounce in a while.

The worn plating will not affect the use of the razor. If it really bothers you for aesthetic reasons, you can always get the razor re-plated. I have a couple of techs and I personally think they shave pretty good. bc
