Wm Stenton & Son Again Superior 8/8 + w/Hawaiian Spalted Mango scales

The blade is pretty much as it arrived. I buffed it with some Maas and Crox but nothing else. The scales I made from Hawaiian Spalted Mango and ivory for the wedge. I bought as a book matched stock about 6x18 and they started out as a matched pair of scales but how they ended so different is the beauty of nature. I applied about 6 coats of CA as a finish sanding between coats. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

Thank you. I liked the wood a lot when I saw it online but when it came I did not like it so it sat for a few weeks and I decided to make some scales just to check it out and I was pleasantly surprised at the grain and figuring compared to the rough cut slabs.
