Who makes a good bay rum?

...Btw, for everyone else, I've read that bay leaves are getting harder to source for manufacturers. I've used that as an excuse to stock up.

My all-time favorite bay rum is/was Dominica. Unfortunately it appears to no longer be available. I'm hoarding my last 1/4 bottle for special occasions now.
In the meantime, Captin's Choice is always a good choice as is Ogalla but aware this has a significant clove scent to it as well.

I love bay rum, and the cheaper the better. I've tried St Johns, Royall, and other more expensive bay rums but I really prefer the cheap, mild barber shop bay rums like Gabels and especially Stephans, which I buy in liter size bottles. Master smells good, but it feels sticky to me. Stephans is perfect. I haven't used any lately but when I get on a bay rum kick it might last for months or even years.

Gabel’s was always one of my favorite bay rums. A few weeks ago my barber had a bottle of Stephans and I tried some and it was also very good! Now I need to order some Stephans as well.
