What's new

Where's my GII gone.

Was in the den a few days agao and I noticed my GII handle and a blade, cart was missing. So I asked the wife and she told me as she'd run out of her usual Gillette disposables, so she thought she'd give an "oldie ago". Thanks for asking but how did it go I asked. Well she's still using it and reckons that althogth there's no piviting head the shave quality is the same. In fact she's bought some store brand lube strip carts her self. And get this she also says "it's cheaper"!!!

I grew up with an older brother that used to take things from me without asking. More often than I care to admit. Although I certainly have no issue with sharing with my wife- I don't touch her cosmetics items, shoes, multiple hand bags, endless clothing items, etc. All I have asked for in return is a heads up if she needs something.

She dropped and broke my sideburn trimmer. Unbeknownst to her the rotating piece on the inside that locks the head into place was gone. So, she put it back in the medicine cabinet. When I went to clean up my sideburns a day later, I turned on my trimmer and almost lost an eye when the head piece came flying at my face...:scared:

Since then we have had a mutual understanding.

OP,
It could be worse. Before I switched over to DE's, I found my Mach 3 in the shower. Turned out it was my 14 year old son who was using it. "What do YOU need it for?" I said to my peach-faced son. He looked me steady in the eye and without a trace of irony or embarrassment said "Manscaping".

His razor now. No amount of barbacide can get that image out of my mind.

I'm sorry, but that got a really good chuckle out of me. At least he was honest.

I couldn't imagine using someone else's razor. When I was 14 I knew that I had to start shaving soon, but I was too embarrassed to ask my parents for a razor. I saved up my allowance and walked 3 miles to the store to buy a Mach 3 Turbo. Looking back, it was pretty hilarious. I'd shave twice a day just because I could. The only facial hair I had was the Joe Dirt sideburns and a bit of hair on my chin.

If I ever have a son, he's getting his own razor long before he could possibly even need it.
